Passports arrived, tickets booked

Well I am now the proud new owner of a machine readable passport. It looks like a regular passport except one of the pages is a couple of mm thick and contains an integrated circuit. (apparently but I suspect it is an international tracking device capable of reading my mind. mmmmmm doughnuts)
And I finally got round to buying the tickets too. In two months we will be on our way to Vancouver via San franciso. (Yay dont have to go through awful LA airport) Then some side trips to sunny Las Vegas and not so sunny Seattle.
I am very excited about Vancouver. Especially Science world!
